Would you like to go first century with us and learn how the Christianity grow up on hand of St Paul of Tarsus and St Peter of Antioch?  2 Days Tour to Tarsus and St. Peter’s Church from Cappadocia is what you need!  It is a big chance to be in Cappadocia where is just 2 hours drive in distance to hometown of St Paul and just 3 hours more drive to Church of St Pierre, will be a big pleasure for us to guiding you to visit 2 of the first 9 pilgrimage points for Christians.

Day 1: Tarsus – Adana

08:30 am We will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia or Kayseri & Nevsehir Airports and depart for Tarsus via Taurus Montains. On the way to Tarsus we will also have a little break at Pozantı Valley to take pictures of Taurus Mountains which is also called Anatolian Alps and to taste special drinks of this region made of carrot juse named as “Salgam”.

11:30 am We will arrive in Tarsus. House of St Paul will be our first point. We will have chance to drink a holy water from water well that was the well dug out by St Paul at first century. Than walk on ancient walls of the St Paul’s House and will feel the mystic energy of the house where he back all the time after all of his sacred journeys.

12:30 pm We will visit an historical church constructed at 6th century for the honor of St Paul. While they constructed this church architect specially constructed on 6 pillar and 6 domes to make it similar as Hagia Sophia.

13:30 pm we will depart for Adana.

14:30 pm Arrive in Adana and have a break for lunch. We will get chance to taste most famous Turkish foods like “Adana Kebab” “ Sırdan” “Gerdan” “liver” “mumbar” etc.

15:30 pm We will visit longest and oldest arch bridge of Roman Empire which is still in use called TasKopru. It is built in 4th Century by  Roman Empire Hadrian. We will feed seagulls with “simit”.

16:30 pm We will visit 3th biggest mosque of Turkey. Constructed in 1998 by Sabancı family one the most richest family in Turkey. With it 6 minaret and blue tiles decorations at interior it is a kind of copy of Blue Mosque in İstanbul.

Overnight in Adana…

Day 2: Hatay – Back to Cappadocia

08:30 am After breakfast we will depart for Hatay.

11:00 am Arrive in Church of St Peter. At first century it was carved out as a small cave by first Christians to use as shelter and practicing some prays. At beginning of second century it is converted into a church. It is also the place where St Peter invited  St Paul to give his sacred mission.

12:00 PM After we visit this one of the most holy pilgrimage point where hosting every year thousands of Christian Pilgrims we will depart for Titus Tunnels.

13:00 pm Arrive in Tıtus Tunnels which is carved out at first century by Roman King Vespasianus to protect one of the most important settlement of its period “ Seleicua Pierra” from floods. We will do a enjoyable hike in inside of the tunnel and depart for our last stop of the day.

14:30 pm Arrive in Defne Waterfalls. We will have a traditional lunch with the amazing view and the sound of the waterfall.

16:00 pm After lunch we will depart for back to Cappadocia will be almost 6 hours of journey. For who doesn’t like to back Cappadocia we can offer shuttle to Hatay or Adana Airports.

22:00pm Arrive in Cappadocia
